Position Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for profitable new sales within an assigned portfolio of accounts across a geographic region. The BDM will be marketing/selling staffing services to include - temporary, temp to perm, and/or direct hire roles for information technology & engineering roles for a variety of complex and non-complex roles.


The BDM will also be responsible for:

  • Identifying sales opportunities and consultatively selling solutions and/or services to new clients.
  • Developing client-specific strategies to achieve revenue, gross profit, and other KPI’s.
  • Determining & developing sales strategies/methods specific to the unique needs of each client.
  • Building and maintaining a comprehensive sales pipeline to achieve targets/goals. 
  • Serves as subject matter expert on market trends, target industries, and information technology and engineering roles.
  • Negotiates new client contracts, renewals, extensions and amendments


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Prior experience working within the IT Staff Augmentation/Technology/Consulting Services
  • Strong technical knowledge with areas such as Cyber Security, AI/ML/RPA, Cloud, BC, etc.
  • 2+ years of sales in a consultative selling environment
  • HUNTER mindset coupled with the ability to Farm withing existing portfolio, ability to cold call
  • Strong presentation skills and communications skills
  • Knowledge of and the ability to utilize Customer Relationship Management Systems and/or related tools.
  • Ability to demonstrate business acumen and market insight

University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
